About

The National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers (NOBCChE) was founded in 1972 with the primary goal of assisting people of color in academic and professional success in areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

The Johns Hopkins University (JHU) chapter, founded in 2013, embodies this core objective as a multicultural, interdisciplinary organization that enhances the scholarly and professional development of graduate students and post-docs, through networking, seminars, forums, workshops, and social events.
